Canadian Mint Reports Record Quarterly Silver Sales.
Canadian Mint Silver Sales on Pace To Surpass 2014’s Record.
Sales of Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins and bars rose to a quarterly record of 9.5 million ounces, up from a record 8.9 million ounces in the first quarter of 2015 and up from 6.8 million ounces in the second quarter.

Sales of Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coins rose 135.5% year over year in the third quarter of 2015 from 137,300 ounces in 2014 to 323,400 ounces in 2015.

The Royal Canadian Mint released its third quarter 2015 report this week.
The report showed that Canadian Mint third quarter 2015 gold sales increased 135.5% year over year from the third quarter of 2014 (323,400 ounces vs. 164,000 ounces).
Silver sales increased 75.9% year over year from the third quarter of 2014. (9.5 million ounces vs. 5.4 million ounces)
Gold sales were up 97.2% in the third quarter of 2015 from the second quarter of 2015.

Sales of Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins and bars set a record in 2014 with 29,200,000 ounces sold, an increase of 1,000,000 ounces from 2013’s record sales.
Through the third quarter of 2015 the Royal Canadian Mint has sold 25,200,000 ounces of silver, on pace to surpass 2014’s record silver sales.

U.S. Mint Silver Sales January-September 2015
Sales of silver at the United States Mint accelerated towards the end of June and experienced record June, July and August sales. Sales of American Silver Eagle coins slowed in September but were still a strong 3.8 million.
Through the third quarter of 2015, U.S. Mint sales of American Silver Eagle coins were up 11.6% (36,054,500 vs. 32,311,000).
Perth Mint Silver Sales January-September 2015
Sales of silver at the Perth Mint through the third quarter of 2015 were 39.7% higher than sales through the third quarter of 2014. (7,795,330 ounces vs. 5,582,019). Perth Mint silver sales had been 18% lower year over year through the first half of 2015.
The introduction of the Perth Mint’s new silver kangaroo coin turbo charged sales and account for for the increased in silver sales year over year through the third quarter.
When sales of the Austrian Mint’s silver Vienna Philharmonic coins are included with sales from the Canadian, U.S. and Perth Mints, total silver coin sales from these major mints through the third quarter of 2015 is near 75 million ounces

Sales of one ounce American Gold Eagle coins at the United States Mint through the third quarter of 2015 were up 75.7% vs. through the third quarter of 2014. (520,000 ounces vs. 296,00 ounces)

Sales of gold at the Perth Mint through the third quarter of 2015 were 14%.1 lower than through the third quarter of 2014. (318,441 ounces vs. 371,244 ounces)
Austrian Mint Gold Sales January – September 2015
Sales of gold at the Austrian Mint set an annual record in 2015 on sales through the third quarter of 2015.
The Austrian Mint sold a record 850,700 gold one ounce Vienna Philharmonic coins through September 2015, topping gold sales at all major mints.
