Gold futures just marked the longest winning streak on record

Gold closed last week at $1302.50 an ounce and closed this week at $1318.80 +1.3%

Silver closed last week at $16.91 an ounce and closed this week at $17.16 +1.5%

The gold and silver ratio ended the week at 76.85:1

Gold and silver are not the same metals, they have different properties and different uses. Relative rarity is not the only determinate in arrive at price.
