Of the #Ripple $7.8B traded today on top 13 exchanges $3.53B can from mostly Bitcoin/XRP and some ETH/XRP trading pairs $360 milion in USDT (Tether) buys $2.8B from Korea Won buys $1.1 B from US dollar buys or about half came from people swapping out Bitcoin/ETH and Tether
Rationale for buying Ripple "new investors that are flooding the market are more interested in the return they might generate than decentralization and immutability" OR JUST BECAUSE!https://t.co/VbQCzE4orM
If there's material deals announced over next 2-3 months & the price rises over $450 @SatoshiLite will be vindicated. HOWEVER, there was no conflict if he just held, UNLESS there is some special relationship b/ Charlie & a company partner that required him to divest his #Litecoinhttps://t.co/jDN7Mxxs4e
I would think there would need to be either a contractual or quasi contractual NEED to sell #Litecoin as a result of a particular partnership. Otherwise holding & working towards adding value to #Litecoin itself is not a conflict
A job at one of the new #Litecoin partners might require that – although Charlie held his litecoin during his time at Coinbase, so I cant yet think of a reason that would REQUIRE divesting- willing to be surprised!
IF a govt wanted to establish a crypto commission & put @SatoshiLite in charge he would have to divest. Or if a co wanted to make Charlie chief crypto strategist, he would have to divest. The conflict comes from aligning with another entity where #Litecoin isn't always the answer
Seeing how people lost trust because I sold makes me more convinced that it was the right move. Litecoin was too centralized and dependent on me. Eventually, for Litecoin to succeed, I need to step away. But I promise I won't do that until I've helped LTC climb back past the ATH.
According to a UK Treasury report risk assessment chart below, cash, banks, accountants and lawyers are the highest risks for money laundering. Digital currencies the lowest#bitcoinhttps://t.co/zv41bU8NT0
Would be an interesting move- depends on the how the tariffs work. If they devalue to compensate for the tariffs it might make their production unprofitable. A devalued Yuan would also harm their budding internationalization efforts and petro yuan initiative.
