The week began with market turmoil and ended on the same note with the Dow ending off 272 points on Friday and down over 400 points on the week.
Gold prices ended about $20 lower on the week at $1122.80 per ounce. Silver prices were also lower, closing at $14.58 after opening the week at $14.68 per ounce.
