Shareholdings in Barricks increased 53% since December 31, 2015.

Today German banking giant, Deutsche Bank AG (DB) filed its Form 13-F with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. In that filing, DB disclosed that as of June 30, 2016, its investment management affiliates*, owned approximately $2 Billion in gold and silver mining shares**.

Set forth below are the names of the top twenty-five gold and silver mining companies owned by the Swiss National Bank as of June 30, 2016 and their values as of August 15, 2016, as well as the holdings of Deutsche Bank and their values.

DB disclosed ownership in a total of fifty gold and silver mining companies, including a nearly quarter of a billion dollar position in Barricks as well as large positions in Anglo Mining, Rand Gold and Hecla Mining.
