American Silver Eagle Sales Slow as Silver Price Skyrockets
Today, Rory Hall of The Daily Coin and I had our bi-weekly call regarding gold and silver sales at the world’s sovereign mints. We discussed the fall off in sales in June and the accelerating decline in silver sales of American Silver Eagle coins in July. Rory noted his contention that the U.S. Mint will not sell more silver eagles this year than last year in order to avoid the hype of a fourth year in a row of record American Silver Eagle sales.
