The American Gold Eagle is produced by the United State Mint. The American Gold Eagle is minted in denominations of $5 (1/10 ounce), $10 (1/4 ounce) $25 (1/2 ounce) and $50 (1 ounce).

The American Gold Eagle coin is 22K gold.

In the U.S. Mint sold 743,500 one ounce American Gold Eagles in 2013 and just 415,500 in 2014. In 2009 the U.S. Mint sold a record 1,325,500 one ounce American Gold Eagles.

1 Year Gold Price:

The Royal Canadian Mint introduced the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coin series in 1979.

The Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coins are .9999 gold (24K) and contain no base metals.

5 Year Gold Price:

The United State Mint first produced the American Buffalo Gold coin in 2006.

It is a .9999 pure 24K gold piece. The design of the American Gold Buffalo coin is substantially the same as appears on the U.S. Buffalo Nickel (1913-1938).

In 2006, the first year of mintage the U.S. Mint sold a record 323,000 American Gold Buffalo coins. In 2013, 239,000 American Gold Buffalo coins were sold. In 2014 177,500 were sold.

10 Year Gold Price:

The Austrian Philharmonic Gold coin was introduced by the Austrian Mint in 1989.

The Austrian Gold Philharmonic coin was the best-selling gold coin worldwide in 1992, 1995 and 1996.

The Austrian Gold Philharmonic coin is .9999 gold (24K).

Since 2008, the Austrian Mint has also produced a one ounce Silver Philharmonic coin in the same design as the Gold Philharmonic.
