China remains the largest holder of U.S. Treasuries. China added $9.7 billion in U.S. Treasuries in November, while Japan added $4.3 billion The grand total of foreign holdings of U.S. Treasuries rose $78 billion from $6.047 trillion in October to $6.125 trillion in November.*

China remains the largest holder of U.S. Treasuries. China shed $3.2 billion in U.S. Treasuries in October, while Japan shed $27.9 billion. The grand total of foreign holdings of US Treasuries fell $145 billion from $6.191.7 trillion in September to $6046.3 trillion in October.

China remains the largest holder of U.S. Treasuries. China shed $12.5 billion in U.S. Treasuries in September. The grand total of foreign holdings of US Treasuries rose $3 billion from $6.098.7 trillion in August to $6.191.7 trillion in September.

China remains the largest holder of U.S. Treasuries. China added $1.7 billion in U.S. Treasuries in August. Belgium, often considered a proxy for China, however sold $44.8 billion, while Russia added $7.8 billion. The grand total of foreign holdings of US Treasuries fell $17.8 billion from $6.116 trillion in July to $6.098 trillion in August.

China shed $30.4 billion in U.S. Treasuries in July. Belgium sold $52.3 billion while Russia added $9.7 billion. The grand total of foreign holdings of US Treasuries fell $98.6 billion from $6.175 trillion in June to $6.076 trillion in July.

Belgium shed $92.5 Billion in U.S. Treasuries in March 2015 while nearly all of the top foreign holders added to their reserves. Net sales by foreign institutions were $17.8 billion in March.

Overall holdings of U.S. Treasuries by foreigners declined in February 2015 led by decreases in holdings by China (-$15.4 billion), Japan (-$14.2 billion) and Russia (-$12.6 billion). Overall U.S. Treasury holdings by foreigners declined in February 2015 with reductions in holdings also from France, Switzerland, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
