because miners make financing deals with streaming companies whereby they give up potential gold and silver price upside by agreeing to deliver to the streaming companies far below market prices of gold and silver.

If a mining company borrow $20m or issued equity at $15 a share, developed the mine and the price rose to $25 – they would benefit. But if they take $20m from a streamer in exchange for $8 an ounce silver, they stay afloat but lose money BUT the streamer wins big time

It impacts the miners share price directly because if they did not have below spot price streamer deals, the miners would rise with the price of gold and silver. But if a miner has a streamer deal a price rise doesnt help if it they have contracted to sell at $12 an ounce.
