Fed raises rates- says it anticipates three rate hikes in 2017. Recall they said in December 2015, there would be four in 2016.
St. Louis Fed President repeated his believe that only one rate hike is needed but added that the Fed should do one more in 2017.
Fed Chair Janet Yellen when asked if fiscal stimulus was need she basically said ‘No worries Congress and Trump don’t need to engage in fiscal stimulus implying that the Fed FIXED the economy already.”
This is also a signal that the Fed is no longer interested in providing MONETARY STIMULUS in the form of QE4.
