The Russian interference in the US election investigation continues. Crypto currencies Bitcoin and Ethereum along with other alt coins skyrocket.
The Illusion of Collusion
Former CIA Director Brennan testified and said I don’t do evidence. During the week it was announce that the the Comey memos that documented former FBI director James Comey’s conservations with Donald Trump would not be released. IT was also reported by CNN that James Comey acted on Russian intelligence he knew to be fake.
Result. The plan to undermine the President as having been elected illegitimately is having a destabilizing impact. In addition, while weakening the President politically with the incessant Russian collusion narrative driven by a flood of leaks and innuendo coming from intelligence agencies, it is also weakening faith in the main stream media and government institutions, like the FBI and CIA.
Compare Nixon- when Nixon resigned, there was general consensus that the system worked and that Nixon had made mistakes and obstructed justice. In the current case it appears the the system doesn’t operated via a rule of law but rather by innuendo, leaks and “fake news”. Combine that with a President who is more than willing to fight his case in public on twitter, and you get a growing lack of confidence.
